Drinking water or clean water is water safe enough to be consumed by humans or used with low risk of immediate or long term harm.

Water is a precious factor in our life. We need water for washing, drinking, watering, and so on. However water is more and more polluted nowaday. What is the causes of water pollution and effects of water pollution. Water is polluted by human activities, agricultural activities, industrial activities. The wate pollution have huge serious impact to people and marine ecosystem.

Firstly, there are some main cause of water pollution. Human activities is making water polluted day by day. People put untreated sewage

into rivers, lakes. And then it will flow to oceans. In addition, they dump a lot of waste near to rivers or lakes or in them. Waste is very difficult to degrade. Paper needs two weeks to degrade. Plastic bag need four years to degrade and glass needs a long time, not exactly to degrade. After their degrade, there are many harm for water source. Moreover,
peope use detergents to wash or clean some thing, that change the chemical in water. Water is polluted by human activities.
Secondly, angricutural is also a cause of water pollution. Farmer uses fertiliser and pesticides to protect their plants, but it is very dangerous to enviroment especcially, water. And intensive farming lead to concentration of sulury and silage, thats will put into water source. And the third cause is industrial activities the most cause of water pollution.
A lot of untreated water put into river. Some factory use fresh water to carry your waste from their plants to river or ocean. There fore, river and ocean have to contain a huge of waste. The other industrial is burning fossil fuel make water pollution. This is indirect of water pollution. After burning fossil fuel a lot of acidic go into air and it will mix with vapor water in atmosphere, that make acidic rain. Acidic rain fall again into river and ocean. And oil spill make water polluted seriously. Oil cover surface of ocean and many chemical flow into water, petro-medical, lead, mercury, all pollutants in one. These above is causes of water pollution.
Turning to the effects of water pollution on effects to people and effects to marine ecosystem. The first effect is harmful for human. People is lack of fresh water to use. So they have to spend much money on buying fresh water. That is waste a lot of money. Some of them is not enough money to buy water pollution so they must use dirty water. Through using dirty water, people easy to get lung cancer, typhoid, skin' diseases. The second effects of water pollution is harm for marine ecosystem. Many fishes and other animals are died by water pollution. Animals are tangled into plastic bag. Moreover, animals are covered by oil after oil spills. Oil is diresolve and it is not remove on body of animals. So they will weak and die slowly. Water pollution destroy marine ecosystem.
Water pollution is caused by human activities, agricutural activities and industrial activities with negative effects to people and marine animals. How can you do to protect our water source- protect our enviroments. I hope that all of you have more awareness in decreasing water pollution.
